About NKT

Since 1984, New Kingdom Trailriders (NKT) has provided equine-assisted therapeutic programs for the educational and recreational benefit of physically, mentally, and emotionally disabled individuals in the Quad Cities. Today, NKT works with 40-60 students in a given session and 90-100 each year doing four sessions, ranging from ages 3 to adult. Approximately 150 volunteers work with NKT annually to provide assistance with side walking, leading, grooming, instruction, and administration. NKT is a Premiere Accredited Riding Center of PATH International.
